Christmas trees up already? 10/15/11

I saw my first Christmas tree displays up yesterday and had to ask myself what month and date it was! Halloween items are not even on clearance yet but Christmas things are already pushing out the summer and spring patio furniture and BBQ items. Don't stores know that we like to celebrate the summer months as long as we can and just want to get thru Halloween before the holidays are all over us? Plus it's still 90 degrees out!

I made my first Christmas sign just this morning (Ho Ho Ho) so who am I to talk I guess and I have been making Shalom signs to gear up for that coming up soon too. But at least I am not hanging them all over my front porch asking people to buy them yet. lol

Those of us who like to purchase things well in advance do get the best selection of cute holiday decor but still, it seems a bit early don't you think?. Bah Humbug till after Halloween.
