Happy Groundhogs day! 2/2/11

Okay, campers, rise and shine, and don't forget your booties (er, I mean, flip flops) 'cause today is Groundhogs Day. Am I right or am I right? Or am I right? Don't you just love Ned Ryerson on that movie? He is my favorite! I see that the movie will be playing all day long today on probably every channel.

The official Groundhog, Punxsutawney Phil, lives at Gobbler’s Knob near Punxsutawney, PA. where currently Phil's forecast to see his shadow (or not), is light freezing... rain (say what?). I think Phil needs to move somewhere tropical (with sand and sun) don't you? Those are some harsh working conditions!

Let's hope Phil doesn't see his shadow today (if he even wants to come out of his burrow) so most the world can have a shorter winter season. Boy, folks are getting hammered again this week with snow and bad weather. Bundle up campers! I think it's time to plan a tropical trip don't you?
